I installed F4SE properly (extracted all files except src folder into FO4 directory) and it still isn't working. That's why it's so confusing to me why the console command to test it isn't working. I have a compatible version, so there shouldn't be a problem. I did roll it back to 1.5.205, which is the latest build compatible with F4SE. Since you're using the f4se exe to run it won't upgrade yet. Roll back to previous fo4 version and use compatible f4se until it's updated.Īlso turn off auto update for fallout 4 and only update when you run it. Since that command isn't being found, I'm assuming it's an issue in F4SE and not in the mod itself. Advice? Trying to use the Place in Red mod, but I cannot for the life of me get anything to work. So there shouldn't be an issue, and yet when I launch through F4SE loader, and try to test out the install by typing in GetF4SEVersion, the command is not found. Like Craig, I am waiting for the latest F4SE patch (1.5.307), but I rolled back to the compatible version.
So, since I can't get any help on my post (as usual), perhaps somebody here is willing to help.
I guess I'll just have to avoid build mode and play storyline quests in tell (F4SE) is updated and use the games exe to launch my game instead!.
